Among these is $250,000 for purpose of matching an existing $250,000 New Jersey Historic Trust grant. The total of $500,000 will be used for emergency stabilization of the building.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">The County is required to hold a public hearing about these grants, which is scheduled for <b>TUESDAY, JULY 14 beginning at 5:30pm <\/b>(following a special America 250 program). The hearing will be held at the <i><b>Dey Mansion Washington\u2019s Headquarters Historic Site<\/b><\/i>, 199 Totowa Road, Wayne, NJ. If you would like to support this project, <i><b>please consider coming to the hearing and speaking during the public portion to express your concerns and advocate for the Commissioners to award the funding for the emergency stabilization. <\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">If you cannot make it to the meeting in person, you may write a letter to the County Commissioners prior to July 14<sup>th<\/sup> urging them to support the grant and explain in your own words why it is important for them to do so.
